Supply Chain Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at WR Engineering Recruiters. As a key member of our Senior Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products through our manufacturing and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and coach a knowledgeable and highly motivated team.
  • Proactively take a customer-focused approach and create strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Generate reporting on load and capacity and drive necessary improvements, working efficiently with the MSP process.
  • Actively drive lead time reduction and ensure the best possible service to our customers.
  • Ensure high delivery performance and cost-effective suppliers.
  • Actively drive the development of Supply Chain processes.
  • Build effective working relationships with other departments.
  • Take a full value chain approach, from supplier via manufacturing to the customer.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management.
  • Proven relevant experience in Supply Chain activities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Likely to have held a position of Supply Chain Manager, or similar - Purchasing Manager, Head of Procurement, Procurement Manager.
  • Good knowledge of project management.
