Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role:
Premier Engineering is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their existing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role, hold an engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, and possess excellent 3D CAD skills using SolidWorks or Inventor software. Additionally, knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining and fabrication is essential. The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
The Mechanical Design Engineer will work within the current engineering team, producing engineering drawings using SolidWorks software for new equipment. They will be involved in the smooth running of projects and timescales, offering advice on any engineering issues, and liaising with colleagues on other engineering tasks as required.
