Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Residential Care Manager to join our team at HRS Healthcare.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a brand-new residential service provision at our SE2 residency, providing high-quality care to children and young people with Social, Emotional, Behavioural Difficulties and Learning Disabilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, including providing professional support, guidance, and supervision to the staff team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the OFSTED registration process
  • Ensuring young people receive excellent emotional and physical care levels within a safe, nurturing, and comfortable environment
  • Managing both employees and resources to achieve high service standards, exceeding regulatory standards
  • Managing the home's budget and ensuring the business remains viable and meets key performance indicators
  • Taking overall responsibility for the management and leadership of the Children's Home, promoting high standards of care in line with regulatory bodies
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge around Children's homes regulations and implementation throughout the processes of the home

Requirements:

  • Effectively leading a team of staff to enable the highest quality of care
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Manager/Deputy Manager in a children's home
  • Reflective staff supervision, managerial and communication skills
  • Excellent Ofsted regulatory knowledge
  • Experience conducting supervisions with staff
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Preferred)
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
