About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Manager to lead our team at Blandford Grange, a large and spacious care home located in the Georgian town of Blandford Forum.

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the home, including quality and governance, retention and recruitment, and financial performance. You will have a proven track record of meeting CQC standards and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses, carers, and support staff to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, including quality and governance, retention and recruitment, and financial performance
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous management experience in a nursing home setting
  • A proven track record of meeting CQC standards and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and resources
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
