Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Information Manager to implement project information management systems for major energy transition, olefins, refinery, and petrochemical projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing client requirements and defining overall tools and digital strategy for projects and proposals.
  • Supporting Project Managers in defining digital scope in project execution plans.
  • Leading and steering information management, tools, and systems setup and document control activities in projects.
  • Overseeing implementation of digital services on projects, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordinating project staff.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external parties, such as clients and vendors.
  • Providing direction and support to project staff on digital execution.
  • Reviewing available digital tools and selecting tools for implementation.
  • Reviewing project and operational data, proposing, and implementing solutions for execution and operational improvement.
  • Staying up-to-date with market tools and digital services offerings.
  • Leading the implementation of new digital tools and methods, both internally and externally.
  • Identifying opportunities for digital services and supporting sales efforts during tendering phases.
  • Leading the implementation of new business opportunities leveraging digital technologies.
  • Being the focal point for communication with all stakeholders, from clients to management teams, on digital scope.
  • Being prepared to travel in the UK and overseas for meetings.

Typical Background and Experience Required:

  • You are a team leader with team and people management experience.
  • Direct work experience in engineering projects.
  • Degree or diploma in engineering, computer science, or business is preferred.
  • Experience in project systems management, project data management, and project document management within a project environment is required.
  • Strong knowledge of methods for data-centric execution.
  • Knowledge of systems and tools related to design, construction, and operation of energy-related capital projects.
  • Able to overview the overall project execution workflow.
  • Able to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and effectively manage stakeholders.
  • Affinity for digital systems and tools and their implementation in business.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral).
