Service Controller Role

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Controller to join our team at Dawsongroup Environmental Municipal Civil. As a key member of our service and maintenance desk, you will be responsible for controlling the workshop, mobile, and third-party engineers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients
  • Ensure hire fleet equipment is maintained to the manufacturer's recommendations
  • Draft and send communications to clients, including repair and service updates
  • Obtain updates, escalate issues, and challenge costs and potential delays
  • Authorize and control expenditure
  • Process and approve invoices

Requirements

  • Confident communicator with excellent telephone manner
  • Strong administrative skills and ability to adapt to a wide variety of tasks
  • Empathetic and able to understand customer needs and requirements in challenging situations
  • Ability to work well under pressure
