Warehouse Manager Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager at Indigo Search Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and logistics operation in the Brighouse area. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of warehouse staff, including shift managers and operatives, to ensure efficient and effective operation of the warehouse.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, including stock receipt, storage, and dispatch.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the transport team to ensure smooth and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a warehouse management role, preferably in a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
