Hospital Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hospital Receptionist to join our team at One Hatfield Hospital. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and visitors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient appointments, admissions, and reception duties with efficiency and courtesy.
  • Process patient payments, prepare documents, and complete forms as required.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Resolve customer queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Verify patient medical insurance details prior to admission.
  • Perform general office duties and other tasks as assigned by the department lead.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCSE education or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Previous administration experience in a business or healthcare sector environment.
  • 2 years relevant experience within an administrative or customer services role.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
