Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to ensure continued business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, address any concerns, and provide support as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and production to ensure seamless communication and service delivery to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products to existing clients, maximising revenue potential.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to effectively position our products and services.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on client activity, sales performance, and market insights for management review.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer relationship management, preferably within the timber or building materials industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within the South Midlands/Wales region as needed.
  • Full UK driving license.
