About the Role

We are seeking a talented Electronics Hardware Design Specialist to join our team at Raytheon UK. This exciting opportunity will see you working on complex technical projects, developing and maintaining world-class power product portfolios and technical roadmaps.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing analogue and power electronic products, solving complex technical problems, and working effectively within a multi-disciplined design team. You will also be involved in electronic schematic capture layout and simulation, design and commissioning of circuits, and fault diagnosis through the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design analogue and power electronic products, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Solve complex technical problems on new and existing products from our portfolio
  • Work effectively within a multi-disciplined design team
  • Perform electronic schematic capture, layout, and simulation
  • Design, commission, and debug circuits throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
  • Prior experience in Power Electronics and Design-to-Cost
  • Good problem-solving skills with practical laboratory test, circuit, and test measurement experience
  • Innovative thinking and self-motivation
  • Excellent communication skills to engage technically with colleagues and customers
  • Eligible or current holder of SC security clearance
