Job Title: Electrical Systems Assessor

Grwp Llandrillo Menai, a leading educational institution in North Wales, is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in supporting and assessing learners' practical and portfolio work to achieve their NVQ qualification.

Job Purpose:

As an Electrical Systems Assessor, you will be responsible for working with learners mainly within the workplace, ensuring that instructing and assessment is of a consistently high standard. You will travel to different workplaces to meet with learners/employers, observing apprentices carrying out a range of Electrical tasks and ensuring that their work meets industrial/professional standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assess learners' needs by providing advice and guidance to prospective learners/trainees and employers.
  2. Conduct interviews with prospective students and administer selection tests.
  3. Undertake initial assessments and identify special learning or support needs.
  4. Monitor and support learners/trainees to achieve their qualifications through individual training plans.
  5. Provide feedback to Team Leader and employers on learners' progress.
  6. Ensure that all necessary reviews are completed within required timescales.
  7. Carry out health and safety monitoring visits for every learner annually.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the Electrical industry and be able to communicate effectively with learners and employers. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality assessment and training services.
