Job Role: Electrical Installation Technician

This is an integral role within our Electrical Department, working closely with lecturing staff to ensure materials and equipment are maintained and available for practical sessions with learners.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Place orders with approved suppliers and receive, store, monitor, and coordinate all stock materials, ensuring stock levels are maintained within budget for allocated workshops.

2. Verify orders are correct and meet requirements, ensuring timely delivery and availability of materials for practical sessions.

3. Collaborate with lecturing staff to develop and implement effective stock management systems, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.

4. Maintain accurate records of stock levels, orders, and deliveries, providing regular updates to management and staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records.
