Senior VAT Manager

Join a dynamic team at PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED and take on a challenging role as a VAT Senior Manager/Associate Director.
As a key member of our Indirect Tax team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality VAT services to our clients, including compliance and advisory work.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of VAT clients and delivering high-quality services to meet their needs
- Reviewing and advising on VAT compliance for clients
- Liaising with HMRC and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of VAT issues
- Identifying and developing business opportunities for the firm, including selling new services to existing clients
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients at senior level and other stakeholders
We are looking for someone with:
- Significant experience and knowledge of UK VAT, including recent key updates and areas of focus in Real estate and Construction VAT
- Ability to manage a large and varied client portfolio and deliver high-quality services to meet their needs
- Experience of dealing direct with HMRC and other stakeholders
- Ability to actively seek opportunities for selling new services to existing clients
- Ideally CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent
