VAT Manager/Senior Manager - SMDB Talent Solutions Ltd

You'll be an experienced VAT Manager/Senior Manager working directly with the Partners and Directors, where you'll contribute to providing excellent client service and technical VAT advice to their clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a client portfolio with higher level of client responsibility

• Provide high quality VAT consultancy services to our clients

• Ad hoc duties supporting the local partners as necessary

Requirements

The Manager/Senior Manager must be able to demonstrate varied VAT experience, either within Accountancy firms and industry.

You should be largely self-sufficient with little input from more senior staff, take responsibility for proactive management of clients and work; take ownership of own portfolio and deal with more complex or higher risk clients; and be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Skills & Experience

• An in depth, up to date, knowledge of VAT and the ability to deal with complex issues

• Project and staff management experience

• Ability to manage a client portfolio profitably whilst being able to actively seek and develop opportunities for both existing clients and new clients

• Experience of dealing with client senior management and HMRC

• CTA qualified, or demonstrable equivalent experience
