We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our Unsecured Credit Risk Team at Nationwide. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing the credit risk of our unsecured portfolios, including designing effective lending strategies, managing credit quality, and providing specialist credit risk advice to the business.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze large datasets to identify trends and root causes, and work with stakeholders to develop insights and improve risk strategies.
- Develop and optimize credit risk strategies and policies to ensure robust controls are maintained, while supporting Nationwide's membership base.
- Extract and analyze data from our systems using tools such as SAS, PowerBI, QlikSense, and Excel.
- Demonstrate a strong aptitude for coding and/or use of statistical tools, including SAS, SQL, Python, and MatLab.
- Show evidence of an ability to present and explain findings to others, either verbally or through written reports.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced team environment and take on challenging projects.
