About the Role

As a Risk Management Specialist at Nationwide Building Society, you will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the MetricStream system. This system is a key component of our risk framework, and your expertise will ensure its design and configuration align with our requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand how MetricStream can be best utilized across the organization, and provide support for the safe delivery of changes within the system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review business requirements and technical solutions to ensure the MetricStream system is configured to meet the needs of business users.
  • Build relationships with risk system specialists and risk reporting experts within and outside the organization.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand how MetricStream can be best used across Nationwide.
  • Provide support for and maintenance of the MetricStream system, including the safe delivery of changes.
  • Develop the capability of the MetricStream support team to reflect current organization needs and emerging technical trends.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree with suitable experience in a specific discipline or equivalent qualified professional with suitable knowledge. You will also have demonstrable experience of operating as a system expert on the MetricStream application, as well as the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the theory behind risk tooling and its application in a complex business environment. Additionally, you will have experience of the Software Delivery Lifecycle and various delivery methodologies, as well as knowledge and experience of Service Management Principles.
