This is a fantastic opportunity to join the second line Prudential Risk team within Financial Risk Oversight at Nationwide.

You will be providing specialist regulatory advice in the area of core prudential risks, contributing to the development of the regulatory objectives for the area. You will be supporting on the implementation of regulatory change, ensuring that Nationwide meets the expectations of the Prudential Regulation Authority.

The role is a great opportunity to provide specialist advice across the prudential regulatory landscape, managing and maintaining the library of prudential requirements in Metric Stream and providing Oversight of compliance.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialist core prudential regulatory advice such as interest rate risk in the banking book, market risk, liquidity risk, capital risk and model risk management.
  • Monitoring and reporting on regulatory change within your portfolio.
  • Maintaining the list of applicable prudential regulations and working with 1st line to evolve the management information for compliance with the prudential landscape.
  • Working with Compliance and Regulatory Affairs to ensure consistency of approach to managing regulatory change.

As a subject matter expert in your area, you will be expected to support the wider team with prudential compliance knowledge as well as 1st line teams to ensure the implementation and compliance with prudential requirements.
