About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Prudential Risk Specialist to join our team, providing specialist regulatory advice and support across core prudential rules. As a key member of the Financial Risk Oversight function, you will contribute to the development of regulatory objectives, monitor implementation of regulatory change, and ensure compliance with prudential regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist core prudential regulatory advice on interest rate risk in the banking book, market risk, liquidity risk, capital risk, and model risk management.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory change within your portfolio, maintaining a comprehensive list of applicable prudential regulations.
  • Collaborate with 1st line teams to evolve management information for compliance with the prudential landscape, ensuring consistency of approach to managing regulatory change.
  • Build and develop relationships at a senior level, representing prudential risk at internal meetings and providing expertise on regulatory requirements.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have proven prudential regulatory experience, detailed knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, and the ability to interpret their implications for the Society. You should also be comfortable working on and leading a wide range of projects, providing opinions, and demonstrating best practice supported by regulatory evidence.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including a personal pension scheme, life assurance, and access to training and development opportunities.
