Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Teaching Office team, whose focus is on the delivery of high-quality support for undergraduate and postgraduate education within our busy and friendly department.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in teaching coordination roles
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Exceptional organisational abilities
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Good level of numeracy

Working Arrangements:

The role-holder will work closely with the Deputy Head of Department for Undergraduate Education to ensure policy translates into procedure, embed administrative best practice in all areas, and support the department in responding to any change as it occurs.

Line Management:

The role-holder will have responsibility for managing the day-to-day activity of the Teaching Office and the quality of work that is delivered, and will line manage the Teaching Administrator and Postgraduate Administrator, taking proactive responsibility for their development.
