At Reed, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Support Specialist to provide outstanding support to both students and teachers in primary and secondary school settings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for child development and a commitment to fostering student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with teachers to tailor individual support for students in need.
Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons and educational materials.
Provide guidance to students facing academic and behavioural challenges.
Supervise and engage students during independent tasks and break times.
Facilitate the implementation of educational programs and personalized learning plans.
Maintain a safe, tidy, and conducive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role.
Versatility in working with students across various age groups, backgrounds, and abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with the school community.
Independent work ethic coupled with strong team collaboration abilities.
