Podiatrist Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Podiatrist to join our Bexley Podiatry Team. As a Specialist Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex foot health needs.
Main Responsibilities- Provide assessment and treatment plans for patients with high-risk foot conditions, including wound care and nail surgery.
- Work autonomously as a practitioner, developing and agreeing treatment plans with clients, with support from senior staff.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including discharge plans, to improve foot health and reduce the risk of complications.
- Assess patients at every visit and refer to specialist services as necessary.
- Prescribe and manufacture orthoses, insoles, and other devices as required.
- Participate in specialist teams and rotate through different teams to update clinical skills and knowledge.
- Work in patient homes and other environments with exposure to bodily fluids.

Person Specification- Previous experience in high-risk and wound care.
- Minimum of 12 months as a Band 5 Podiatrist.
- Prior Band 6 Podiatrist experience desirable.
- Evidence of recent and ongoing CPD in relevant field.
