About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Podiatrist to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with complex foot conditions, including wound care and nail surgery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment and treatment plans for patients with high-risk foot conditions
- Work autonomously as a practitioner, developing and agreeing treatment plans with clients
- Prescribe and manufacture orthoses, insoles, and appliances as required
- Participate in specialist teams and rotate through different teams to update clinical skills and knowledge
- Work in patient homes and other environments with exposure to bodily fluids
