At Watford House Care Home, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and dignity are respected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Personalized Care: Provide individualized care to residents, taking into account their unique needs, preferences, and life stories.
  • Support Daily Living: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal support, and mobility, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Foster a Positive Environment: Create a warm, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging residents to participate in activities, share their experiences, and build meaningful relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with fellow care staff, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery, effective communication, and a supportive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant or in a related field is ideal, but we also welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills who are passionate about providing care for the elderly.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in delivering high-quality care, a commitment to resident-centered care, and a strong sense of empathy and compassion are essential qualities for success in this role.
