About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Watford House Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and dignity are respected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to residents, including personal care, meal support, and mobility assistance.
  • Support daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Foster a warm and engaging atmosphere, promoting social interaction and a sense of community among residents.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to provide a supportive and effective care environment.

Requirements:

  • SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant or equivalent role.
  • A genuine interest in providing care for the elderly and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork are essential qualities for success in this role.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44.
  • 36 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum.
