Senior Application Solutions Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Solutions Analyst to excel in Systems/Information Technology at Cummins Inc. in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize Application Performance: Analyze and evaluate application functionality to recommend improvements in business processes and capabilities.
  • Tailor Application Configuration: Determine and document the best application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Develop expertise in emerging application trends to provide functional recommendations that keep the organization at the forefront of technology.
  • Address Functionality Gaps: Through thorough analysis, identify and recommend solutions to address any gaps in application functionality.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to improve application functionality and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with process owners, business analysts, and architects to gather and review requirements and define functional designs that align with business goals.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide valuable insights and support for projects and ongoing application maintenance as a go-to expert on application content, processes, and functionality.
  • Create Functional Specifications: Develop and manage detailed functional specifications to guide the development and configuration of programs and applications.

Requirements:

  • Strong Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Oracle EBS, MES IT solutions, and Oracle ERP, including experience with EBS technologies, custom development, and Oracle Database structures and features.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage large-scale IT projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Business Process Understanding: Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end cross-functional supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing business processes.
  • Effective Communication and Collaboration: Ability to elicit and understand business requirements, design and build IT solutions, and partner with central IT teams to ensure systems are fully operational and continuously improved.
