The Role

We are seeking a Senior Platform and Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Nigel Wright Group on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role will be a senior position driving forward support services around our identity platforms and account management, ensuring an outstanding service to the organisation, focused on resolving a range of technical incidents and requests in the identity, user access, and account management area, and continually driving improvement of this service to our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sizeable identity platform deployments in both Active Directory and Azure Active Directory/Entra, in a hybrid deployment.
  • Implement and support authentication technologies, such as SAML and OAUTH.
  • Have strong working knowledge in broader Entra identity capabilities, such as Conditional Access and Identity Governance.
  • Have strong working knowledge of overall Active Directory authentication and architecture.
  • Experience of related technologies to identity, such as Intune/MEM.
  • Build trust and highly effective working relationships with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Extensive customer-facing experience in a support environment.
  • Aware of key service management processes and metrics, and their purpose.

Desirable Skills
  • Experience of working in a large retail environment.
  • Experience of SCIM and/or other automation approaches to user provisioning.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting tooling, such as Powershell, and/or IaC tooling, such as Terraform or Ansible.
