The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform and Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Nigel Wright Group. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract that will provide an outstanding opportunity for a senior professional to drive forward support services around identity platforms and account management.

About the Role

This senior role will be responsible for driving forward support services around identity platforms and account management, ensuring an exceptional service to the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving a range of technical incidents and requests in the identity, user access, and account management area, and continually driving improvement of this service to our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sizeable identity platform deployments in both Active Directory and Azure Active Directory/Entra in a hybrid deployment.
• Implement and support authentication technologies, such as SAML and OAUTH.
• Develop strong working knowledge in broader Entra identity capabilities, such as Conditional Access and Identity Governance.
• Work with related technologies to identity, such as Intune/MEM.
• Build trust and highly effective working relationships with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide extensive customer-facing experience in a support environment.

Desirable Skills

• Experience of working in a large retail environment.
• Knowledge of SCIM and/or other automation approaches to user provisioning.
• Strong knowledge of scripting tooling, such as Powershell, and/or IaC tooling, such as Terraform or Ansible.
