About the Role

Nigel Wright Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform and Infrastructure Specialist to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This senior role will drive forward support services around identity platforms and account management, ensuring an outstanding service to the organization, focused on resolving a range of technical incidents and requests in the identity, user access, and account management area, and continually driving improvement of this service to internal customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sizeable identity platform deployments in hybrid environments, including Active Directory and Azure Active Directory/Entra.
  • Implement and support authentication technologies, such as SAML and OAUTH, and demonstrate extensive experience in authentication technologies.
  • Develop strong working knowledge of Entra identity capabilities, including Conditional Access and Identity Governance.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Active Directory authentication and architecture.
  • Experience with related technologies to identity, such as Intune/MEM.
  • Build trust and highly effective working relationships with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deliver extensive customer-facing experience in a support environment.
  • Stay aware of key service management processes and metrics, and their purpose.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in a large retail environment.
  • Experience with SCIM and/or other automation approaches to user provisioning.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting tooling, such as Powershell, and/or IaC tooling, such as Terraform or Ansible.
