Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Hickory's Smokehouse. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our signature BBQ cuisine
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective service
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef Manager in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of BBQ cuisine and menu development
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
