About the Role

We are seeking an analytical individual to join our Insurance Broker Accounts (IBA) team, who work closely with clients and insurance underwriters to reconcile and manage client money.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the day-to-day running of the bureau team by reviewing Power BI dashboards to release available items for settlement.
  2. Review incoming signings that have not auto-matched in the IBA ledger.
  3. Make premium payments to insurance underwriters by deadlines.
  4. Prioritize and escalate pending or suspected NOC activity, liaising with stakeholders for timely resolution.
  5. Deliver exceptional client service by acting as a liaison for clients and insurance underwriters, improving relationships and processes.
  6. Reconcile accounts by working with clients, underwriters, and brokers to collect funds and manage queries.
  7. Manage query escalation to Lockton's broking divisions and within IBA, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements.
  8. Comply with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements, escalating issues to senior management.
  9. Deal with credit control requests from insurers and provide responses on settlement.
  10. Assist with reviewing and testing internal processes and systems, keeping up-to-date with market changes.
Requirements

Candidates should have a good understanding of general and legal principles applicable to insurance, particularly FSA client money rules.

A working knowledge of Lockton's computer desktop software, including Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Brokersure BE/EA, Power BI, Sector, and A4B.

Good numerical ability and analytical mindset.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

Ability to compile, analyze, and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision-making, with excellent attention to detail.

Analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation.

Good organizational skills, ability to manage time, prioritize, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.

An understanding of cash collection/payment processes is desirable.
