Category Manager Opportunity

Morgan Law is seeking a skilled Category Manager to join their team in the West Midlands. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with procurement processes while delivering best value and savings.

Your role will involve developing category and sourcing strategies across goods and services categories, leading on OJEU and non-OJEU tender and supplier contracting initiatives. You will be responsible for your own portfolio of categories and the savings targets attached to them.

This is a hybrid role with office attendance required each week. The salary on offer is circa \u00a343,500.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies
  • Lead on OJEU and non-OJEU tender and supplier contracting initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with procurement processes
  • Deliver best value and savings
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in procurement or a related field
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
