Autism Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in a partner primary school in Leeds.
Job Overview:This role requires flexibility, energy, and enthusiasm for working with children who have complex needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH etc. If you enjoy challenges and want to make a difference, this could be the ideal position for you.
About the Role:As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will support lesson planning by identifying resources needed to achieve learning outcomes.
- Support teachers in designing learning activities and materials tailored to individual student needs.
- Supervise pupils during teacher-led tasks and maintain classroom resources and designated areas.
- Establish supportive relationships with students, promoting respect and self-esteem.
An estimated salary of £27,500 per year is available, reflecting your experience and skills.
