Job Title: Video Producer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Video Producer to join our team at Bauer Media Audio in London.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content for our audio brand audiences, with a focus on social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working with the Head of Video and Digital Editors to implement and maintain brand style for all video ideation and creation.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in the video editing process.
  • Producing content for our audio brand audiences, with strategic angles for each social platform.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest social media video editing trends.
  • Editing short- and long-form videos for audio brand social accounts and YouTube Channel.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop ideas and concepts.
  • Implementing creative notes from stakeholders.
  • Project managing and directing video content creation in studio and on location.
  • Delivering content that is accurate, on-brand, up-to-date, and appealing to the audience.
  • Devising and implementing video distribution/seeding plans to ensure maximum reach.
  • Managing video kit, including lighting, to ensure all kit is up to date and report any faults.
  • Working directly with our teams on digital best practice, creating exciting graphics, compelling edits, thumbnails that pop, repeatable formats, and content that drives engagement, subscriptions, and followers.
  • If required, taking the role of director or producer and ensuring video content is of the highest quality and delivered to deadline.
  • Working with Social Teams to identify online trends and personalities, including emerging memes and cultural conversations.
Requirements:
  • Solid experience in editing and shooting, combined with an excellent understanding of all social media platforms from a video POV.
  • Significant experience using Adobe Premiere.
  • Ability to work with multi-track split audio.
  • Knowledge of aspect ratios.
  • Experience with high-resolution file transfer applications.
  • Understanding of video encoding formats.
  • Talent for sound design.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to translate performance data and audience insights into developing video formats.
  • An entrepreneurial 'can-do' attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate best practices.
  • Ability to focus and follow through on priorities and deliver quality results.
  • Clear understanding of competitor activity and consumer behaviour.
  • Sound editorial judgment with a passion for storytelling.
  • Thorough and pay attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well with others and direct presenting and guest talent.
  • Flexible and open to change.
  • Comfortable using Mac.
  • Storyboarding and scripting.
  • Awareness of media law and Ofcom compliance.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety requirements on shoots.
  • General graphic and 3D skills highly advantageous, including Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Photography skills.
  • Pro-active, committed, quick thinking, and able to work calmly under pressure.
  • A team player at every level, and able to work with stakeholders to see a project through to completion.
  • A healthy obsession with analytics and a demonstrated understanding of how to create content that will cut through on all platforms.
