- Find and select journalistic stories.
- Commission and edit long-form written content from our partners.
- Develop creative ideas for videos and social content.
- Oversee the work of designers, animators, editors, and social content producers.
- Write powerful treatments that bring ideas to life and suggest innovative creative approaches to maximize impact.
- Write engaging scripts with personality that convey complex information in a simple and clear manner.
- Take ownership of schedules for your projects.
- Ensure assets are delivered to a high quality and on time.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms.
- Several years' experience in a journalistic role, ideally with editorial oversight of others.
- Several years' experience in video production, with numerous scripting, producing, and editing producer credits.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
- High level of creativity and ability to generate attention-grabbing creative ideas.
- Experience in archive research and motion graphics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Positive and flexible 'can-do' attitude and willingness to solve problems.
- Ability to get on well with the team.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
