Strategic White-Collar Defense and Fraud Investigations Lead

London, Greater London, United Kingdom Edwards Gibson Full time

Edwards Gibson's London corporate crime offering is a key component of its disputes team, despite being smaller in size. The firm has a strong white-collar defense and fraud investigations practice in the US and a top-notch UK civil fraud practice. However, it sometimes struggles to fully exploit opportunities in Europe due to the extra-jurisdictional nature of US law and regulators.

To address this challenge and capitalize on more matters from UK enforcement agencies, Edwards Gibson is seeking an experienced lateral hire with market presence and excellent interpersonal skills to lead its London corporate crime offering.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the complexities involved in white-collar defense and fraud investigations, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. They will be responsible for driving the growth of the practice, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to stay ahead of the competition.

In terms of compensation, the successful candidate can expect a salary range of £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. This figure is based on industry standards for similar roles in London.

As a leader within Edwards Gibson, the individual will enjoy a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities, a competitive bonus structure, and a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Joining Edwards Gibson offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the firm's London corporate crime offering and contribute to the growth and success of its disputes team.
