Overview of the Role:


We are excited to support a leading employee-owned logistics and freight company in their search for a skilled Air & Sea Freight Operations Account Manager.


This position is integral to our vibrant team located near London Heathrow, where you will oversee comprehensive operations, balancing both air and sea freight responsibilities.


Your role will involve managing the entire shipment process, ensuring a balanced focus on both export and import activities.


Key responsibilities include handling quotes and pricing, fostering relationships with carriers and airlines, and guaranteeing efficient service delivery for our clientele. A proactive attitude, strong dedication, and exceptional customer service skills are vital for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee complete shipment operations, including quoting, job bookings, monitoring, and customs documentation.
2. Uphold service standards for existing accounts while selecting the best airline/carrier/haulier to optimize profitability.
3. Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate smooth cargo movement and stay informed on industry trends.
4. Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, airlines, and haulage providers.
5. Manage your own portfolio, ensuring timely processing of goods.
