Overview of the Role:


We are excited to support a leading employee-owned logistics firm in their search for a skilled Air & Sea Freight Operations Account Manager.


This position is ideal for a committed and knowledgeable professional who will become an integral part of a vibrant team situated in London Heathrow.


In this capacity, you will oversee comprehensive operations, balancing responsibilities between air and road freight, as well as export and import activities.

Your role will be pivotal in managing pricing and quotations, fostering relationships with airlines and transport companies, and ensuring efficient operations for our clientele.

A proactive attitude, strong dedication, and exceptional customer service skills are vital for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee complete shipment operations, including quoting, job bookings, monitoring, and customs documentation.
2. Uphold service standards for existing accounts and select the most suitable airline/carrier/haulier to optimize profitability.
3. Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate the smooth transit of cargo and remain informed on market developments.
4. Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, airlines, and transport companies.
5. Manage your own portfolio and ensure timely clearance of goods.
