Role Overview

Responsibilities

We are in search of dedicated support and rehabilitation care staff in the Dover area to assist an adult male with an acquired spinal injury within the community.

The client maintains a high level of independence but is looking for a compassionate individual to help him continue leading a fulfilling life. You will be expected to provide assistance with personal care as required (including catheter care) and support mobility, as he utilizes a wheelchair.

Required Qualifications

Skills and Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in a care role. Car drivers are essential to facilitate community access, attend appointments, and support outings as necessary. The Support Worker should have a background in care/support roles and be physically active, willing to assist the client’s rehabilitation alongside the multidisciplinary team.
