As the Schools Programme Lead, you will play a crucial role in delivering this mission by leading the strategic and operational delivery of the RSF training programme for schools and education sectors across the UK.

Job Description:

This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. As the Schools Programme Lead, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all aspects of the RSF training programme for schools and the education sector
  • Developing a delivery model for the training programme based on findings from pilot programmes
  • Launching the training programme for school staff and peer-to-peer education for children and young people in primary schools
  • Coordinating the management of the training programme with CRM support colleagues
  • Designing an employment structure for a team of facilitators and overseeing their recruitment, induction, and training
Key Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities as the Schools Programme Lead will be to lead the strategic and operational delivery of the RSF training programme for schools and education sectors. This will involve:

  • Managing quality monitoring on the team of facilitators
  • Developing resources to support the training programme content
  • Representing the Ruth Strauss Foundation at conferences, workshops, and meetings
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with pre-bereavement and/or bereavement with children or families
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and Zoom
  • Drive to identify service gaps and creatively expand services grounded in high-quality practices
  • Willingness to travel nationally during term time; this will include overnight stays
Salary:

An estimated salary of £45,000-£60,000 per annum depending on experience

Location:

Flexible across the week between home and office, with office hours 1-2 days per week
