Undergraduate EMC Design Engineer

Becoming an Electromagnetic Resilience Expert at BAE Systems means being part of a team that designs, builds, tests, and commissions the world's most advanced submarines. As an Undergraduate Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer, you will focus on ensuring that these vessels operate safely and efficiently within their electromagnetic environments.
Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing electromagnetic requirements for design teams, collaborating with EMC test engineers to create testing regimes, and analyzing results to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements:To succeed in this role, you should hold a strong academic background in electronic engineering, physics, or maths, with a minimum 2.2 degree. Experience with wave propagation and electromagnetic interference with electronics would be highly valued.
In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Salary and Benefits:This position offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a company-contributed Share Incentive Plan.
