About the Role

We are seeking an Educational Psychology Support Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd.

As a key member of our staff, you will work in schools across North Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, and Newcastle under Lyme.

Your primary role will be as a teaching classroom assistant, providing support to students and teachers alike.

Job Description

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Support teachers in creating engaging lesson plans and delivering high-quality education to students.
  • Assist with behaviour management and provide positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance educational outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
