Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? Do you have a background in Psychology, Education, or Criminology?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. Working in schools across North Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, and Newcastle under Lyme, your role will be to provide support to classroom teachers and enable them to teach effectively.

You will be responsible for ensuring that children with additional needs, learning disabilities, and SEND are kept on task, safe, and happy. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons
  • Assisting students with special educational needs

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be enthusiastic, motivated, and able to hold student attention with excellent communication skills. A strong understanding of child development and behavior is also essential.
