Job Title: Product Compliance Specialist

At Amplus Talent, we are seeking a detail-focused Product Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Product function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance of our electrical products with global regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

  • Support the Commercial Compliance Manager in compiling business requirements for new product markets and mitigating risks.
  • Assist in identifying relevant testing and certification processes for global markets, working with accredited laboratories and certification bodies.
  • Maintain a commercial awareness of compliance regulations within new and existing markets.
  • Regularly assess and update testing packages through approved third-party providers.
  • Maintain the Company's Global Compliance Matrix, ensuring it remains up-to-date and cleansed.
  • Support the Compliance Team in ensuring regulatory documents, technical files, and product labels adhere to varying market requirements.
  • Liaise with the Product Development team to ensure compliance certificates are issued in line with the Company's critical path.
  • Analyze regulatory changes and updates across global markets.

About You:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Product Compliance role.
  • A solid understanding of relevant global product certifications, including CE, UKCA, UL, ETL, CSA, RCM, country-specific deviations, safety, and RoHS compliance schemes.
  • Experience understanding and advising on global product market access requirements for multiple territories.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions.
  • Exceptional listening skills.
  • Experience managing LVD, EMC, RED, RoHS, and other directives.
  • An ability to act quickly in response to manufacturer enquiries and regulator queries.
  • A good working knowledge of international and industry standard safety regulations.
  • A keen eye for detail, with an analytical mindset.
  • Experience using third-party compliance institutions.
  • A team player with a passion for working alongside others.
  • A problem solver who can challenge and find quick resolutions to potential issues.
  • Experience working with lighting, lighting controls, AC power outlets, DC voltage chargers, or other consumer electronic products is beneficial.
