About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychiatrist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise to our Community Mental Health Team, working with patients living in Hertfordshire.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide medical expertise and clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team, including diagnostic assessments and treatment of patients with complex psychiatric conditions.
  • Assess emergency work, including new referrals and difficulties with existing patient populations.
  • Undertake administrative duties associated with patient care, recording clinical activity accurately and comprehensively.
  • Participate in service and business planning activities for the locality and mental health service.
  • Manage, appraise, and provide professional supervision to junior medical staff.
