About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant psychiatrist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a clinical lead for adult community mental health services, you will be responsible for providing medical expertise and leadership to our multidisciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic assessments and treatment to patients with severe, complex, and high-risk psychiatric conditions.
  • Lead the assessment of emergency work, including new referrals and difficulties with the existing patient population.
  • Undertake administrative duties associated with patient care, including recording clinical activity accurately and comprehensively.
  • Participate in service and business planning activities for the locality and the whole mental health service.
  • Manage, appraise, and give professional supervision to junior medical staff.
