The West Group is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Group Programme and Health and Safety Manager, you will coordinate the H&S workload and provide an escalation point for issue resolution.
• Leading by example, you will promote a positive and motivating team environment, overseeing H&S processes and procedures, training, and auditing for the West Group of Companies.
• You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and implementing effective safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of health and safety principles, regulations, and best practices. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
