Job Overview

Actemium Automation is seeking a committed Safety and Compliance Specialist to support our operations on a part-time basis, ensuring adherence to safety protocols across our various business units.

This role encompasses providing expert advice on environmental responsibility, facilitating safety meetings, conducting audits and inspections, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead initiatives for environmental responsibility and work towards achieving net zero targets. Evaluate contractor documentation, conduct safety meetings, and perform audits and inspections. Ensure compliance with legislation and foster ongoing improvements in safety performance. Generate reports for management, and oversee monthly health & safety and quarterly environmental reporting.

Qualifications

Familiarity with ISO Standards 9001, 45001 & 14001, along with internal auditing capabilities. NVQ Level 3/4 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice or NEBOSH certification & Tech IOSH. Excellent communication skills for effective report delivery and training material development.
