Job Title: Platform Delivery Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Platform Delivery Lead to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will lead a small team and provide operational and project support in an enterprise setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and allocate operational and project activities to technical SMEs
  • Deliver, quality assure, and service improve
  • Act as a focal point for escalation for the team and wider business
  • Delegate authority for the Platform Manager
  • Serve as an internal point of escalation for technical or functional queries
  • Manage incidents, requests, problems, and changes in accordance with ITIL processes
  • Carry out capacity management, knowledge management, and asset management in accordance with ITIL processes
  • Plan and implement changes in accordance with change management processes
  • Engage and coordinate with third-party vendors and support providers as required
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of supervising or leading technical teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with individuals up to Senior Leadership level
  • Service Delivery and Service Management experience, ideally in IT
  • Experience of dealing with third-party vendors and support providers
  • Effective stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of Information Security best practices
  • Skills in root cause investigation and the ability to resolve business-critical issues
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be self-supporting and proactive
  • ITIL, Six Sigma, or service management and improvement framework knowledge
