We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Market Modelling Consultant to join our team at Lane Clark & Peacock. Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver project work, from bid writing to final delivery, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the UK electricity market and its implications for modelling and analysis.
- Develop and grow the business in new areas, leveraging your expertise in energy market modelling and analysis.
- Lead project teams of varying seniority, line managing junior team members to contribute to their growth and development.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, presenting complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage your work effectively, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks and projects.
- A strong background in the UK electricity market, with a 2:1 degree or better in a numerate subject, such as mathematics, statistics, computing, engineering, or economics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to sense check model results.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in using electricity market modelling software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and continuous learning.
