About the Role

Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a committed and dedicated individual to join our team as an Educational Support Worker in Bristol. This role involves working closely with teaching staff to support pupils with Autism and other Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 in class to ensure they have access to the curriculum and can tailor lesson activities to their ability level.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils and teaching staff to help pupils achieve their potential.
  • Providing emotional support to pupils who may be struggling or need help calming down and remaining focused.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with SEN/Autism/Complex Needs/SEMH is desirable.
  • A valid right to work in the UK (a valid visa) is essential.
  • At least one recent child-based reference and relevant DBS/Polic e checks are required.
